When you were old,
Too weak to walk in the sun,
I will accompany you aside,
Our appreciating the light
Sunset casting over the pond.
Covered with the golden gown,
We'll share the nostalgia along
The pond.Leaning upon my shoulder,
You'll read the everlasting love
Through my countenance.
When you were old,
With heart peaceful and tranquil,
With enough patience,then--
I'll read words from my diary
Whispering beside your ears.
The voice from my mind written down
Day by day,would have been
stored piles and piles
Of missing--For You.
I'll read daily the diary,
Then you'll know all that
days passed;thoughts raised;
choices selected;emotion undergone.
I love when you were old,
Combing your winters,
Telling tales where
We are the Prince and Cinderella.
