海勒的二十二条军规、福克纳的圣殿、纳博科夫的洛丽塔。如果把T.S.Eliot当作美国诗人，《荒原》当然是不错的。惠特曼的草叶集，爱伦坡的诗歌与小说，斯坦贝克《伊甸之东》、《人鼠之间》、《愤怒的葡萄》。
