The reality of the other person is not in what he reveals to you, but in what he cannot reveal to you.
Therefore, if you would understand him, listen not to what he says but rather to what he do ...
“守君”---比较好玩。 The title you put on yourself is both very respectable and a bit, er...egoistic, forgive me.
In that sense I agree completely. When I said nothing is personal, I was not concerned with sharing with the world. Nor was I concerned by any particular person, great as he was or maybe--I was merely talking about a general "rule".
Language as a medium of communication is utterly limited (therefore it is tragic that we are busy-ing ourselves on a forum promoting foreign literature ). All arts in its tangible form, music, painting and poetry, are limited, yet we do the best we can. Something was lost between the original creative idea (which comes from the divine force that is much larger than we are) and the manifestation of that original idea, and more were lost between the manifestation of that idea and the various minds attempting to grasp/analyse/relive/reinvent it. This is a curse and in the same time also a blessing--we may never be able to understand the original creative design, yet each of us is a part of this creative process--like what they say, art is an empty basket, you put in what you find.
However, on a different dimension, sharing in language/tangible form is unnecessary--that's besides the point at the moment, I suspect. |
